File Description | The employees are managed by the use of
workforce management of a company in order to ensure they are managed and
guided well in order to obtain maximum benefits from their performance. Since
leadership, people management and change are aspects of workforce management;
they have been linked to the principles of workforce management that falls
under the main topics of this research. The leadership of a company is considered
as an important aspect to guide the employees. However, only guiding does not
increase the employees' motivation and has been proved in this research through
the leadership style required to motivate the employees being the one preferred
i.e. Autocratic leadership style. In terms of people management, the
principles of workforce management such as employee engagement, commitment,
development, HPW and competitive advantage were outlined to show the importance
of each in relation to performance of the employees where effective people
management policies lead to better performance from the employees. The way change is implemented and
affected by each employee was also analyzed in this research since employees
are either negatively or positively affected by the change implemented. It was
found that in order to get the change implemented positively amongst the
employees, the company should involve the employees in the decision-making
process of the change. The success of the company is therefore
based on the motivation of the employees which is linked to the leadership,
people management and change in workforce management. The company has to
implement effective policies while at the same time dealing with the changing
environment to enable its stance as an employer brand in the market. |
