File name | FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE ADHERENCE TO TB AND HIV INFECTION CONTROL GUIDELINES BY NURSES IN MOKHOTLONG |
File Description | Infection control guidelines in Southern African settings
are often not followed resulting in increase in TB cases with HIV as the main
risk factor (Kermode at el., 2005). Lesotho as one of developing countries has high prevalence
rate of TB currently, 402 cases per 100 000 populations of which 77% are HIV
infected (GoL, 2010). Therefore, there is need for scrutiny of availability of
infection control guidelines, their relevance, use and limitations (Sissolok et al., 2011). |
